Try googling Coton de Tulear Rescues in Toronto and surrounding areas. If they don't have what you want they may be able to give you REPUTIBLE breeders that you can get a pup from. Never get a puppy from a pet store, they tend to get puppies from puppy mills, and they tend to not be healthy... not to mention their breeding methods!

A Coton is no harder to take care of then any other longhaired dog. You just need to make sure you have money for good food, vet expenses (regular checkups, shots, spay/neutering, and prepare for emergencies that could happen) toys, groomers, and other things a dog needs. Be warned that a puppy can cost up to $2000 for its first year for just the basic needs. A larger dog or a fragile one like a Coton can be more expensive. They need to see a groomer often to prevent matting and make their coat manegable. DO NOT buy a dog from a pet store, pet store dogs are from puppy mills. Not only are puppy mills bad but their pups almost always cost you 10 times more because they typically have worms, minor health problems, and often have distemper or parvo or another serious disease that will cost you a LOT or even your puppy's life. Go here: http://www.usactc.org/ for info about Coton's and their care and how to avoid puppy millers and look at a directory for reputable breeders. Good luck!

PLEASE do not support pet shops. Check out http://www.prisonersofgreed.org/ to find out what a puppy mill is and what the parents of pet store puppies are condemned to a life of.

I always say follow your heart. If that is what you want, don't worry about if ti is hard to take care of. Worry about paying an arm and a leg for a low quality dog. Avoid that doing as suggested, a rescue. One of the best sources for dogs with a predictable personality is the rescue dogs. These are dogs that lost their home, but were taken into a foster home to be retrained as necessary and placed in the right home for them. You may find a rescue near you starting at http://www.akc.org/breeds/rescue.cfm The rescues charge a fee to help cover their expenses, but is much less than the price of a puppy plus all its medical expenses the first year. www.petfinders.org is good too.
