Dear Dogster reader,

Almost two years ago, we invested numerous resources and rebuilt the Dogster community. With new hardware, software and personnel, we did our best to satisfy the many users who shared their thoughts, pictures, questions, and love for and of their pets with us and friends. It was a thriving community with many users. We hoped, however, there would be more like you.

Times and habits have changed and we are sad to announce that the Dogster community will be closing down on July 20, 2019.

Dogster magazine, www.dogster.com and the associated social media sites are NOT shutting down. We encourage you to continue reading the content found in the pages of the magazine and the web sites, commenting through the mechanisms provided and sharing your ideas and comments with us and your fellow readers.

Instructions for accessing pet profiles were shared with everyone in 2017. The instructions can be found within the forum. AFTER JULY 20TH, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS THIS CONTENT. And, effective immediately, we are no longer able to answer questions about the community.

Thank you for your support and we look forward to serving you through our magazine and website.

Cheers,
Dogster

I thought it would be fun to have a \"Spots and Dots\" club! Mixed breeds, purebreds, whoever. You\'re welcome as long as you have Spots or Dots! I\'m a mixed breed girl - probably a mix of Pointer, AmStaff, and or Heeler. We don\'t really know because I was adopted from a rescue. Mom thinks I\'m beautiful with all my spots. She curious though, would you think I get my spots from being part Pointer, or maybe from being part Heeler? Anyhow, welcome to the club, all you wonderful spotted and dotted dogs!

I have huge spots. Oh yeah, and an eye spot like Petey from the Little Rascals. I think that's how my first owners thought up my name.

I only have one spot. It's on my ear. Do you think it makes that ear heavier?

Technically I have spots and dots too! More dots than spots though. I have a big white spot ontop of my hips that looks like a soaring eagle or something. I just checked and you can't see it in any of my pictures though *hmph* And yes, brindle spots are super cool. You are all great examples for our S&D club! PS. Lucy, that depends, do you walk with your head tilted at all? :oP

Hey Greta! I have SPOTS, but they are under my STRIPES! My mom can't figure it out. With hair I'm brindle, but nekkid, I'd pass for a pink dalmatian!

You can't see them in my primary photo but I have tons of spots. I have grown more as I have gotten older. I have big black ones and lots of little freckle ones...do you like them?

Hi everyone!! I\'m Dol the Dal, and I had spot\'s all over! I had one in between my eyes too like Daisey mae does, that one was my moms favorite too! :) You look a lot like a GSP Greta, especially in the coloration of your fur, but then you have more of the Heeler coat length. AHH, I don\'t know!! The picture of you lying on the floor makes you look like you are smiling! It\'s so cute!! I totally like your spots and dots Tulip, their very fashionable! :)

Spots, Dots, and Freckles, I love 'em all! Judging by all our photos, I think we are already becoming the cutest/prettiest dog club too :oP I was wondering when we would get our first Dalmation! Thanks for the friend request from your family Dolly. I hope you meet my Bogart, he's at Rainbow Bridge too. Mom agrees with you, that I look more Pointer, but then where does my thick, longish coat come from?! Certainly not from being Pointer or AmStaff/Pit. Hmph - I guess we'll never know what I am for sure. Mom says I'm beautiful no matter what I am, and that's all that matters! :o) Welcome aboard everyone!! *Woofs from Greta*

Mom just told me I have \"liver spots\", then laughed. I don\'t think that\'s very funny at all. Aren\'t liver spots what old people get? :o|

Thanks Greta! I see you have a very spotty tummy too! You should have seen the look my mom\'s face when she saw all my spots (she was giving me a bath and she couldn’t believe it, and she even suspects I grow new one every day)

Well, Francky, a wise dog once said, \"One can never have too many spots\". Or maybe that was someone at the dry cleaners? Either way, your spots are marrrrvelous!

You don't have that!!! Although my grandmother does, maybe she could join the party. WOL My mom calls me her little cow, talk about embarrassment, maybe I should do a Milka commercial or something… Hi George!

Welcome George! That most definatelty counts. Every party needs a chick magnet with belly freckles! (The funny think is, the C on this keyboard isn't working so great and that almost said hick magnet BOL Good thing Mom keeps double checking everything!)

BOL Francky! No grandmas allowed! They would probably tell us we\'re making too much noise at our party, and make us go to sleep early! And being that my coloration is \"Liver and White\", Mom thought she was oh-so-funny with that whole liver spot thing. *rolls eyes* (Edited because Mom isn\'t so good at double-checking spelling errors after all.)

Yeah you are right; I'll just leave her home. I guessed your c isn't working properly when I read Nigel’s first post! (About being old outside) So guys when spell something wrong that is cause English isn't my primary language.

Whispers to Greta’s mom – I think that was funny, but don’t tell Greta, I think she would get a bit offended!

As a matter of fact, one of my nicknames is Frecklebelly if I'm good, or Frecklebutt if I'm bad...
