For years I use to walk by and stare at you, The most prettiest eyes so blue, I would say hi, And you would let out a brief sad sigh, You brought back memories of an old friend, Just when I thought the tears would end, My best friend left me just two years before we met, And once more the tears make my face wet, One day, three years ago I moved next door, I wanted your friendship even more, Then I noticed you watching me, I\'ll bring over a snack and we\'ll see, A friendship that started with love, We were like a hand in a well fitted glove, Each day I would walk by and you would sing, Aaawwwuuuuu, then wait for the snack I\'d bring, Your family thought our love was great, They smiled when you wiggle as I walked through that gate, So gentle was you with me, Then I\'d laugh as you tried to bite others as they flee, You was my huge buddy, And remember that day we got muddy, I understood you when there was no other, We had lot\'s of fun my four legged brother, Like that day when you picked me up, like you was a horse, you carried me away, giddy-up, I would sit with you and talk for hours, the heck with everybody, the back yard was ours, Then this valentine\'s day, I came over to visit and your eye\'s was gray, Your mom came out and told me you was sick, You came over and gave me a sad lick, Your life was about to be through, So I got my snowsuit and sat by you, I told you what you meant to me, Maybe you\'ll pull through this we\'ll have to see, I told you I love you, You told me you love me too, The night grew colder, And your breath got shorter, I wasn\'t going to leave you alone, So I told you it was time for you to go home, You was so weak towards the end, An angel from God ascends, You put your monster head upon my leg, For comfort and love you beg, You looked into my eyes, and then we said our last good-byes, This isn\'t the end of a poem, For in the backyard your spirit still roams, We still see you from time to time, That rainbow bridge must not be hard to climb. Thanks for the memories buddy, Love and miss you as much as Casper. |/a/|

He was the coolest monster husky I've ever known. Evrey time I tried to write, the darn ole tears were all over the place, thoughts of him, and of Casper and Misty. Heck, I have a hard time reading other peoples losses and heartaches. Thank you, Caspers Dad
