Dear Dogster reader,

Almost two years ago, we invested numerous resources and rebuilt the Dogster community. With new hardware, software and personnel, we did our best to satisfy the many users who shared their thoughts, pictures, questions, and love for and of their pets with us and friends. It was a thriving community with many users. We hoped, however, there would be more like you.

Times and habits have changed and we are sad to announce that the Dogster community will be closing down on July 20, 2019.

Dogster magazine, www.dogster.com and the associated social media sites are NOT shutting down. We encourage you to continue reading the content found in the pages of the magazine and the web sites, commenting through the mechanisms provided and sharing your ideas and comments with us and your fellow readers.

Instructions for accessing pet profiles were shared with everyone in 2017. The instructions can be found within the forum. AFTER JULY 20TH, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS THIS CONTENT. And, effective immediately, we are no longer able to answer questions about the community.

Thank you for your support and we look forward to serving you through our magazine and website.

Cheers,
Dogster

Suzy Q needs prayer

Suzy is scheduled for surgery Tuesday morning, she is having her left eye removed. The vet said Suzy kind of has us "between a rock and a hard place" right now. Her eye is in bad shape and there isn't anything else that can be done for it except to remove it so she will get/feel better. (She is feeling pretty bad right now.) He said that because of her cancer, heart murmur and age that it could be very risky and prove to be to much for her and that I should understand that. She looks so pitiful.

The vet said that Suzy Q did surprisingly well for her surgery today. She has to stay there until at least Thursday morning, he said depending on how she is doing by then she may get to come home on Thursday. He said they have to start removing the packing in the eye socket tomorrow and that it's a very slow process that takes all day. They will remove a little bit each time, while waiting several hours between. Thanks to all of you for praying for her and for all of the rosettes. Please continue to remember her in prayer, that she will recover from surgery with no problems.

Thanks for everyone's prayers and rosettes. Suzy got to come home today and you can tell she feels better. She goes back on the 15th to get her stitches removed. Suzy Q pix #1 Suzy Q pix #2
