My 11 mos. old lab (adopted) finds any Deer Feces to eat. Is there a way to prevent that ?

I live in the country. I have deer in my fenced in yard almost daily. IF I don't find the "deer pellet poop" first, my 11 mos. old lab will eat them. He has only lived here for 2 mos. and came from a house in the city so he LOVES to find the deer feces. They are very "buried" in the grass. If he leads me to them, I can clean them up, but he can find ones I can't see !!

We live in the country too, our 11 mo old golden loves deer and elk poo, and would do ANYTHING for tasty bear poo. I asked our vet, who said as long as we keep him on interceptor (de-wormer) he'll be fine.

I taught my pup "leave it" command. It only took two-three times and he doesnt do it at all anymore.
