how old should my puppy be when I start him on a harness and leash

    I would start him at 8 weeks or older just getting used to it. I wouldn't pull him on it, he's too small. Once he learns a few commands like come and sit, they you can try walking him on it. Good Luck!

    Mine is two months old and she's doing pretty well on her harness and leash. The harness stays on all the time in case we need to do a quick outside trip when she has to potty since she can't hold it for long and I don't want to miss the chance. If it's too cold, noisy, or wet she's not a huge fan of walking around but we're taking it slow and she's fine!
