    Laws vary on this topic depending on where you live. If the bitee was not at fault and pushes for euthanasia, that's often what happens. However, if a child grabs a dog's ears and it bites back, it is hardly the dog's fault if being supervised. Some breeds like Pitts, if not well-trained and banned in a county, will be confiscated by animal control immediately after an incident. Can you provide more details please? ^_^
