my 9 yr old poodle has cataracts in both eyes can this be fixed

I am seeing a vet now, however my 9 yr old poodle has cataracts in both eyes. can you help

    It can be... by a special veterinary opthamologic surgeon for thousands, but more likely it will be recommended for your dog to go mostly blind. As long as you do not move anything inside, he will memorize the home and be fine. You'll just be his seeing eye person and put down wee pads in case he has to go, which he'll find by smell. There is nothing wrong with having a blind dog; they are very sweet and still play and are the same dog that they were before, with a few more limitations. It sounds like you'll be having more of a problem with this than your dog, who will adjust better than you could expect. Woof to the world ^_^
